Adam Hubbi

Adam Hubbi is a consumer protection attorney who helps people dealing with credit report errors, background check mistakes, identity theft, and other issues that can affect their finances and everyday lives. His practice includes cases involving consumer rights established under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other federal consumer protection laws.

Before focusing his practice on consumer protection, Adam worked in Washington, D.C., in the financial regulatory space. There, he advised investment management funds, multinational banks, and financial technology startups on federal and state regulatory requirements. This experience gives him a strong understanding of the financial systems and regulations that often intersect with consumer protection matters.

Adam also brings experience litigating complex cases, including mass torts, commercial disputes, and pharmaceutical patent matters.

Adam earned his degree in Biological Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2014 and his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2020.

Today, Adam’s practice includes credit report errors, bankruptcy reporting errors, mixed credit files, deceased reporting, background check errors, identity theft recovery, EFTA and FCBA violations, and debt collection harassment. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, and Washington, D.C., as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Adam is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA).
