Duran Keller

Duran Keller is a nationally recognized trial attorney who focuses on consumer protection and civil rights litigation. His career includes significant jury verdicts, appellate work, and complex cases involving consumer rights, systemic misconduct, and emerging legal issues.

Early in his career, Duran served as the sole attorney representing abused and neglected children in Tippecanoe County. Regularly handling difficult and emotionally complex cases helped shape his client-centered approach and commitment to making the legal system more accessible to people facing serious challenges.

Duran has successfully tried and won jury cases in multiple jurisdictions. His results include a $2.5 million verdict in a malicious prosecution case, a $1.95 million verdict in a Fair Credit Reporting Act case, and multiple six- and seven-figure results in consumer protection and civil rights matters. His work has also addressed important legal questions involving standing, damages, and discovery.

Duran earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management and his J.D. from Southern University Law Center. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, New York, and New Jersey, as well as multiple federal courts and the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Duran serves as an elected Board Member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by the National Consumer Law Center for his contributions to consumer litigation and advocacy. He also regularly speaks at national conferences about trial advocacy and litigation strategy.

His practice includes credit report and background check errors, identity theft, debt collection harassment, EFTA and FCBA violations, consumer fraud and deceptive practices, civil rights and excessive force matters, and consumer class actions.
