Emanuel Kataev

Attorney

Emanuel Kataev is an attorney with more than a decade of experience in labor and employment law. Since beginning his legal career in 2013, he has focused on representing employees and helping them navigate workplace disputes and complex employment laws.

Emanuel represents employees through negotiation, arbitration, mediation, and litigation. When a case cannot be resolved, he is prepared to pursue it through verdict when necessary. His experience also includes negotiating settlements designed to resolve workplace disputes and help clients move forward.

Earlier in his career, Emanuel worked at a management-side law firm, where he gained firsthand insight into how employers approach employment disputes. That experience now gives him an additional perspective when representing employees and evaluating the strategies they may face.

Emanuel earned his Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from St. John’s University College of Professional Studies and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.

He is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut and is admitted to multiple federal courts in those states. Emanuel is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
