Jonathan Krikheli is a consumer protection attorney who helps people navigate credit reporting, debt collection, and employment-related legal issues. His practice focuses on matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other federal laws designed to protect consumers and employees.

Jonathan began working in consumer protection during his first year of law school in 2021. Since then, he has developed experience with federal laws including the FCRA, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Jonathan takes a client-centered approach to his work, focusing on making complicated legal issues easier to understand. He values clear and efficient communication and aims to help clients understand their rights without overwhelming them during an already difficult situation.

Jonathan earned his B.A. in History from CUNY York College, where he was consistently named to the Dean’s List. He earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2024, where he served as Treasurer of the International Law Society and participated in a pro bono program helping individuals file their taxes at no cost.

Jonathan is licensed to practice in New York and is admitted to multiple federal district courts in New York and Illinois.
