Kendra Penningroth

Kendra Penningroth is a consumer protection attorney who helps people navigate credit report errors, background check mistakes, identity theft, debt collection problems, and other issues that can affect their finances and everyday lives. Her work relies on protections established under federal laws including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Before becoming an attorney, Kendra worked as a news reporter in Washington, D.C. and Phoenix, Arizona while earning her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University.

Kendra went on to earn her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where she served as an Article Editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. She also spent nearly two years working as a law clerk at a consumer protection firm, gaining experience in the field before beginning her practice as an attorney.

Today, Kendra’s practice includes credit report errors, bankruptcy reporting errors, mixed credit files, deceased reporting, background check errors, identity theft recovery, EFTA and FCBA violations, and debt collection harassment.

Kendra is admitted to practice in Arizona, Missouri, and Utah, as well as multiple federal district courts across the country. She is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA).
