Levi Eidelman

Levi Eidelman is a consumer protection attorney who helps people dealing with credit reporting errors, debt collection problems, identity theft, and other issues that can disrupt their finances and everyday lives. His current practice focuses on federal consumer protection laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Levi earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he received the Cardozo Scholarship Award for all three years and served as Associate Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. During law school, he worked on matters involving workers’ class action and associational rights, including an amicus brief filed in Janus v. AFSCME before the U.S. Supreme Court. He also interned for Judge K. Levine of the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County.

Before joining the Mistake.com team, Levi worked on mass tort litigation in federal and state courts involving medical devices and pharmaceutical products, as well as personal injury matters. That litigation background now informs his work representing consumers and holding companies accountable when violations of consumer protection laws cause harm.

Levi’s practice includes credit report errors, bankruptcy reporting errors, mixed credit files, deceased reporting, background check errors, identity theft recovery, EFTA and FCBA violations, and debt collection harassment.

Levi is admitted to practice in multiple state and federal courts, including the Third and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA).
