McKenzie Czabaj

McKenzie Czabaj is a consumer protection attorney at Mistake.com who helps people dealing with credit reporting errors, background check mistakes, identity theft, and other issues that can affect their finances and everyday lives.

McKenzie earned her B.A. from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. While at ASU Law, she participated in the 3L Bar Program, which allowed her to take and pass the bar exam while she was still a 23-year-old law student.

McKenzie’s practice includes credit report errors, bankruptcy credit reporting errors, mixed credit files, deceased reporting, background check errors, identity theft recovery, EFTA and FCBA violations, and debt collection harassment. She values the collaborative environment of her firm and is passionate about using its resources to pursue outcomes that make her clients whole.

McKenzie is admitted to practice in Arizona and numerous federal district courts across the country. She is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA).

Outside of her legal work, McKenzie is an avid traveler who has nearly completed her goal of visiting all 50 states. She also enjoys cheering on the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, spending time with her cats, and volunteering with organizations that support animals and people experiencing homelessness.
