Moshe Boroosan

Attorney

Moshe Boroosan is a consumer protection attorney who represents people facing credit reporting problems, debt collection issues, financial disputes, and other violations of their consumer rights. His practice covers a wide range of federal and state consumer protection laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), Consumer Leasing Act, Federal Odometer Act, and Consumer Credit Fairness Act.

Before focusing his practice on consumer protection, Moshe worked at a nationwide securities class action firm. There, he handled high-stakes investor litigation against Wall Street companies accused of fraud and other wrongdoing, helping recover millions of dollars on behalf of institutional and individual investors.

Moshe has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for the New York Metro area every year since 2018. He is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association and serves as editor of the NYLitigator, a quarterly publication of the NYSBA’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section.

Moshe earned his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the St. John’s Law Review. Today, he brings his litigation experience to representing consumers across the country when errors, unfair practices, or violations of consumer protection laws create real-world problems.
